Rag2-/-γc-/- mice on a Balb/c genetic background were used for all mouse experiments. For adoptive transfer experiments, mice were injected with 2×107 PBMCs (AllCells, http://www.allcells.com) that were first labeled with CFSE. HIS mice were created as described[5].
